Cityinn Hotel Plus - Taichung Station Branch

My stay was great value for the money, as the room was clean, comfortable, and offered a lovely view. The location next to the train station was super convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit.

Breakfast choices could use more variety for different tastes.

It is a wonderful property located in East district just next door to other attractions and the train station and nearby malls and shops. The hotel boasts central location to everything Taichung also.

We stayed at CityInn Hotel Plus - Taichung Station Branch for two nights, and it was a good experience with our 1.5-year-old twins. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Taichung Station, making it convenient for travel. The room was clean and modern, although a bit snug with our luggage. The friendly staff provided excellent service, even following up on a minor issue we had with the AC. The bathroom was spacious and accessible, which was a huge plus for my wife. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and we appreciated the free laundry facilities. Nearby, the Cultural Heritage Park and other attractions offered enjoyable outings for family bonding. we had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider returning.

Everything is just excellent! Location is fantastic. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff there are friendly and efficient!

Amazing place with amenities like free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a shared kitchen. I remember how the staff kindly assisted my elderly parents during our first stay, showing great care. I highly recommend trying their buffet breakfast for a good start to your day. I'm coming back for Christmas!

It has a combination of an excellent service and a quiet ambience.

The shower was hopelessly awkward, and no one cares about the leaky faucet. I also expected a spacious room, not this cramped nightmare. I almost thought about leaving a good review, but honestly, it's unforgivable that I didn't even receive a complimentary snack upon my arrival. What a disappointment, really!

But it is far from night market. Need to take taxi about 10 min (TW105) to yichung night market.

The area was not so attractive.

During our recent 4-day trip to explore the vibrant local culture, we found the hotel to be ideally located just minutes from the train station. The staff, especially Doris, were welcoming, providing us with insightful recommendations for nearby attractions. We also appreciated the delicious breakfast options and the convenience of luggage storage. The hotel’s attention to detail, like reaching out about forgotten items, made our stay even more nice.

Extremely polite staff. The staff also helped to sort out a day trip, on short notice, and also asked if we enjoyed the trip on our return.

1) Lifts are really small, and when it gets crowded you have to queue to get in. Not easy with a crying baby! 2) The lift do not serve B1, where breakfast is served. If you have a pram , or need a wheelchair etc, it will be difficult 3) Just to be aware there are 2 train stations in Taichung. We made the mistake of travelling to HSR Taichung, from Taipei, thinking Cityinn is round the corner, but it is in fact a 10 km taxi away (NTD250) 4) A small step/ledge when you go into the bathroom, just mind your step!

Everything. New, clean, friendly and close to the train station. WiFi everywhere and for local standards above average standard. Service was five star.
